How to share the greatest gifts this holiday season.

Here is a fun and creative way to make Jesus the focus of your gift giving. Actually wrap a gift to represent the gift of Jesus and as you open it - share the story of how our Heavenly Father gave the gift of His Son (Jesus) for our salvation and eternal life. Share how we can recieve the gift of Jesus by asking Him into our hearts.  Inside this box create another gift box, representing the Gift of the Holy Spirit which Jesus gives us; to comfort , guide and  live inside of each one of us if we will ask, receive and believe.  Inside the gift box of the Holy Spirit will be the gifts from the Holy Spirit. You could include a gift wrapped for each gift the Holy Spirit offers us. Take time to talk about each one.  You could open theses together or have individual ones made for each person to open.  Make sure for each truth (gift) opened or shared, a scripture card is given to help them recieve and remember all the wonderful gifts God has given and prepared for us to walk in and receive. Let this become a family tradition that keeps our focus on the best gifts that can't be bought or sold -  but can be shared and received all year round, not just Christmas!  cc

Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father.. Earnestly seek the gifts from God. James 1:17

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. 1 Cornithians 1:14
